Repeat of 2019 Final in U13 age groups
ACFA and KFA are undoubtedly the best U13 teams in the MTC HopSol Youth Soccer League. These two teams will be contesting for the crown as champions of the U13 age group for the second year consecutively.
In the first semi final KFA beat 1.FSW after trailing the “clever students” by 2 goals before halftime. KFA bounced back to clinch the match from under the nose of 1.FSW with a 3:2 scoreline.
The “clever students” where devastated when the referee blew the last whistle. It was a close-affair between ACFA and Ramblers FA as both teams played good passing football. Curtis Kriel opened the scoring for ACFA after Ebson Mbaha lost the ball in midfield before the ACFA skipper unleashed a shot from midfield that GK Marius Boonzaier couldn’t stop. Lukas Sakeus, also a Selection Team elite player scored the second goal that sealed the victory for ACFA.
The match was well attended with some parents coming straight from work to watch their protege’s in action.
Would we see lots of goals in this promising final of the U13 giants?
