DTS MTC HopSol League Cup winners 2020

DTS clinched the U12 MTC HopSol Youth Soccer League Cup 2020 by beating 1.FSW in a thrilling Cup final match. 1.FSW went into the lead on two occasions and DTS showed fighting spirit and resilience. The neutral fan saw a shy DTS team in the beginning stages with 1.FSW dominating proceedings in the middle of the park. Adin Claasen played a very good game and was rewarded with a goal that brought his team on the path of victory 7 minutes from the end. 1.FSW became runners-up the second.

DTS goalkeeper Phileas Janka scooped the Golden Gloves award for allowing only 6 goals during the course of the season in his net. The most valuable player was Eduard Kanyanga of 1.FSW chosen by the coaches. Team of the year went to the Physically Active Youth while their Coach Charles Gawoseb received the Coach of the Year Trophy. The Top Goalscorer award went to AJ Visagie of ACFA who netted 9 goals during the season.
