Papama shines in Namibia’s victory

The brave Warriors won their first Cosafa cup game thanks to goals from Marcell and Elmo.
Two days before the team departed for South Africa Marcell Papama visited the MTC Hopsol YSL Studio to participate in our “Questions With Your Brave Warriors Stars” segment. It is safe to say our luck did him good as he scored his first international goal in the 13th minute to put the warriors forward and Elmo putting the icing on the cake in the second half.

The Brave Warriors cruised past Zimbabwe in the second match with a 2:0 win. Elmo Kambindu scored one goal and was crowned man of the match. Namibia sits on top of the group with 6 points and have one foot in the semi-final.

Namibia plays Zimbabwe on the 13th July 2021 at 12:00.
