Ready, set…let the ball roll AGAIN
It has been at least 106 days since the MTC HopSol YSL was temporarily put on a break due to the new amendments by the head of state. However, on Saturday the 11th of September, the league resumed and has had sets of hungry teams ready for the kick-off after the very long halt in the sport code.
A total of 145 goals scored in 20 matches played in the re-opening match-day, but what sent mixed feelings in the air would be the massive score lines in the under 11 age group, where SKW A was on different class as they humiliated Ramblers 17 goals to 2, while PAY ruthlessly torn apart by a very eager and determined DTS A. 1-20 is what the score line read.
All matches resulted in clear winners, except the U13 match between Kasaona FA and SKW who shared points, and finished in a 3 all draw.
To conclude, it was amazing to witness the joy, hunger and euphoria delivered not only by the players, but the parents and the staff of the MTC HopSol YSL, and we cannot wait to see the ball rolling again and more lifted spirits for the upcoming weekend.
