Dramatic last league day
The last league day for the under 15 & 17 leading into the knockout stages was absolutely eventful.
Under 15
In group A, DTS won their remaining two games to overthrow the previous leaders KFA and win the group, the Gemmies also recorded a victory to top group B on goals difference.
Group C saw Riverheights fail to do what the others did in the other two groups, as they lost and thus SKW proceeded to top the group in the end.
The two teams of each group move on to the top 8 knockout tournament, with the the teams joining them.
Top 8 U/15
DTS, KFA, ACFA a, SKW, WHK GYM, CBS, Riverheights FA, Ramblers.
Under 17
The battle into the final matchday was between Baller Boys in 5th position and 1.FSW in 4th position in their respective groups, only separated by goal differences.
Baller Boys won their game against Dobra by three goals to zero on Friday, thus it was all up to 1.FSW to respond with a victory on Saturday afternoon, but failed to do so after a very intense 2 red card game against SKW, they lost by 2-1 scoreline.
Top 8 U/17
ACFA a, DTS, SKW, Riverheights FA, Kasaona FA, ACFA b, Ramblers and Baller Boys.
The top 8 tournament will be played this week from Thursday through to Saturday at Ramblers and Jan Mohr field, fixtures will be communicated soonest.
