MATCH DAY 6: Results, Red Cards, defeats
Over the weekend, the U/15, U/17, and U/19 segments played a total of 13 games.
In the U/15 league, ACFA A team defeated DTS with a score of 2-1, while Ramblers A managed to snatch a win against DSFA results being 2-0. Riverheights showed why they are on top of the table by scoring a total number of 4 goals to walk with a 4-2 win. Dama brings evidence of why they are top 3 by whipping Swallows 2-0. While ACFA B humbles Ramblers B 3-0, Kasaona FA mutes Baller Boys with a simple score of 1-0, and DTS concludes the weekend with a 2-0 win over ACFA B team.
ACFA opened the U/17 games with a 3-0 loss to KFA, putting KFA on the winning list, finally. Where Ramblers B and DTS ended in a 1-1 draw, WHK GYM gets comfortable with a 2-0 win against last place Dama. The home team CBS also collected 1 point, when they drew against Kasaona FA with both teams unable to reach the back of each other’s nets. Fortis FA continues on their losing streak and drowns in 4-0 defeat to ACFA A. Ramblers B team was soundly beaten by SKW with a final score of 6-0.
The U/19 age group had a lot to offer especially, Ramblers vs DTS where the and tension escalated because not only did DTS sustain a 2-0 loss, but also managed to get 2 red cards; one card being a straight red given to a player on the field, which triggered a on offensive behaviour from the touch line. WHK GYM collected 1 point from two matches played on the day, the first one being a 2-0 thrash from KFA, and the levelled up against Riverheights in a 1-all draw. Last show down was another 2-0 drub for DCSA by Swallows.
