The MTCHopsol Youth Soccer League’s successful resumption for the second leg of the 2023 season brought excitement and enthusiasm to the field, especially among the older age groups. Despite facing initial challenges with ball control due to weeks of exam-related disruptions without any football practice, some players who dedicated time to ball work during the off-season showcased remarkable skills, leaving a lasting impression on the cheering spectators. The under 19 category managed to score an impressive total of 11 goals, while the under seventeens outperformed them with four additional goals, totaling 15 goals in their matches. However, it was the under 15’s who stole the spotlight, demonstrating exceptional talent and coordination, netting an impressive 20 goals while conceding none in their six matches, firmly securing their place as the leading group in the league.
