Goal-Fest in MTC HopSol League Match Day 9
The MTC HopSol league resumed with a bang as match day 9 showcased an abundance of goals and thrilling encounters across various age groups.
In the under-9 category, SKW displayed a dominant performance, thrashing Kasaona FA with an impressive score line of 7-0. The SKW team came out with guns blazing, showcasing their attacking prowess and leaving their opponents no chance to counter.
Unfortunately, two under-9 matches were postponed: SKW vs. DSFA and KFA vs. DSFA. However, SKW didn’t let the postponements dampen their spirits. In their encounter with ACFA B, they put on a goal-scoring clinic, securing a resounding 15-1 victory. ACFA B faced an uphill battle, unable to contain the relentless attacking force of SKW.
Moving on to the under-12 category, two matches had to be postponed. Despite the disruptions, ACFA B team managed to shine brightly, delivering a scintillating performance against WHK GYM. ACFA B displayed exceptional teamwork and clinical finishing, overpowering their opponents with a remarkable 10-0 triumph.
The under-13 age group witnessed a game that will be remembered for its sheer one-sidedness. ACFA unleashed an onslaught on WHK GYM, demonstrating their dominance by netting an astounding 15 goals while conceding none. It was a display of skill, precision, and efficiency from the ACFA team. In the under-15 category, WHK GYM faced off against Jan Möhr, resulting in a 3-0 victory for the former.
The under-17 age group experienced three postponed games, leaving spectators eagerly awaiting their rescheduled fixtures.
On to the seniors’ category, Kasaona FA faced Hage Geingob in a match that ended with a convincing 6-1 victory for the former. Kasaona FA left their opponents struggling to keep up with their assault on the goal. In another match, CBS fell short against DTS, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat. DTS’ solidity, left the CBS team throughout the match. A draw was the outcome of the game between KFA and Swallows in the senior under-19 category. Both teams managed to score a goal each, displaying a balanced and hard-fought encounter.
