Young Warriors off to the U20 AFCON
Namibia took off to Mauritania on the 6th of February 2021 to mark their debut in the U20 African Cup of Nations.
Apart from the much-expected excitement, the young warrior’s captain Steven Junior Damaseb states that, the team is ready both mentally and physically and the team spirit is as high as ever.
Namibia is placed in group B alongside Tunisia, Central African Republic and Burkina Faso. The young Warriors are set to kick off their tournament on the 15th of February 2021 against Central African Republic. 15 players from the 29 player squad are products of the MTC HopSol Youth Soccer League.
