The inaugural Mega build Tournament a great success

The MTCHopSol YSL hosted a very successful Pupkewitz Mega Build Tournament; the two-weekend tournament attracted a total of 33 teams consisting of 6 newcomers and 3 teams from outside Windhoek. The tournament had total of 84 matches and 275 goals were scored.

In the finals U/15 the new boys on the block CBS talents met the team they beat 3 goal to one in their second game of the tournament but this only managed to hold DTS to a 0-0 draw and later fell short on penalties missing two penalties and DTS scoring all 4 to be crowned Pupkewitz Mega build champions.

DTS U/17 made it to the final after defeating maybe one of the most competitive and absolutely fit team in the whole tournament Riverheights FA, DTS was however hoping to join their understudies in being crowned champions but destiny and Ramblers had a very different plan, with the blue boys from Pionierspark walking away as the U/17 champions.

After losing their opening games, the yellow army vowed to capitalize on that defeat and lift that trophy, thus they brought the rhythm in their warm ups and the game as they defeat KFA 2-1 to be crowned U/19 champions of the tournament.

This tournament was aimed at preparing the participating teams for the expected beginning of the 2022 MTCHopSol Youth Soccer League and as observed the teams are hungry and ever ready.
